🌿 The Habitats Trust — Conservation Grants
Not a jobs listing — but worth knowing. The Habitats Trust runs an annual grants programme supporting individuals and organisations working on lesser-known species and underrepresented habitats across India. The 2026 cycle (₹3.5 crore total outlay) closed in February 2026. The 2027 cycle is expected to open in January 2027.
Three grant types are offered: Conservation Grant (up to ₹1 crore, for organisations), Action Grant (₹25 lakh, for individuals and organisations), and Research Grant (₹40 lakh).
