July 21’s tiger death in Madhya Pradesh’s Sanjay Dubri area took the total fatalities this year to 36.

So far in July, two tiger deaths have been reported, according to Tigernet, a directory of tigers and other wildlife mortality and the official database of the National Tiger Conservation Authority.

The details are awaited, NTCA says.
